Madinah: A Gentle Ending to a Journey of Faith

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh,

After four beautiful days in Makkah, our journey continued to Madinah, a city that feels different from the moment you arrive.

Makkah was powerful, intense, and deeply emotional.
Madinah felt calmer, softer, and peaceful.

It is a city that teaches you to slow down, reflect, and feel gratitude in a quieter way.

Day 6: Tahajjud, Raudhah, and the Beauty Around Masjid Nabawi

Our first full agenda in Madinah started early with Tahajjud prayer together.

There is something very special about waking up before Fajr in Madinah. The air feels calm, the steps toward Masjid Nabawi feel meaningful, and every dua feels closer to the heart.

On this day, we also had the opportunity to visit Raudhah.

Visiting Raudhah was one of the most emotional moments of our time in Madinah, a moment filled with dua, reflection, and gratitude.

It is not just about being there physically, but about being present with the heart, making dua, asking for forgiveness, and feeling grateful for the chance to stand in such a blessed place.

Later after Asr prayer, we continued with ziarah around Masjid Nabawi.

Walking around the area, seeing the beauty of the mosque, and feeling the peaceful atmosphere of Madinah reminded me that this journey was not only about visiting places, but also about collecting lessons.

  • Lessons of patience.
  • Lessons of gratitude.
  • Lessons of humility.

Day 7: Ziarah Around Madinah and a Little Time to Breathe

The next day, we continued our ziarah around the city of Madinah.

Madinah is full of history. Every place has a story. Every story carries a lesson.

It reminded us of the struggles, sacrifices, and love surrounding the life of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and his companions.

After the ziarah, we had free time including some shopping.

A simple moment, but also part of the journey. Buying gifts, walking around, and enjoying the city before leaving soon.

Because deep inside, we started to feel it again…

The sadness of leaving🥲.

Day 8: Check Out, Safari Uhud, and the Journey to Jeddah

On Monday, we checked out from the hotel.

Before heading to Jeddah, we visited Uhud.

Uhud is not just a historical place. It is a reminder of courage, sacrifice, obedience, and lessons learned through struggle.

Standing there made me reflect that faith is not always about comfort. Sometimes, faith is tested through hardship, discipline, and patience.

After Safari Uhud, we had lunch at Romansia before continuing our journey by train to Jeddah Airport.

It felt like the final chapter was getting closer.

Day 9: Flight Back to Jakarta

On Tuesday, it was time to fly back to Jakarta.

Leaving Madinah was not easy.

There is a peaceful feeling in that city that is hard to explain. A calmness that stays in your heart even after you leave.

Makkah gave us intensity. Madinah gave us peace.

And both gave us memories that I hope will stay with us for a lifetime.

This journey was not only about traveling from one city to another. It was about returning with a softer heart, stronger faith, and deeper gratitude.

Alhamdulillah for the journey.
Alhamdulillah for Makkah.
Alhamdulillah for Madinah.

Until we meet again, insyaAllah.

That’s all for now. May every journey bring us closer to gratitude, peace, and faith 🥰😍
